Cold Case Killing Investigation Leads To Arrest Of San Diego County Man
The case was reopened in August, and an arrest was made. The arrest of San Diego County resident Anthony Silvas Miera has been announced for nearly 20 years after the death of 21-year-old Raymond Cardenas. The case was reopened in August 2025 by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's cold case unit. Miera was arrested in his hometown of Spring Valley and is facing a murder charge for Cardenasy's death.
