San Diego Wave, longtime goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan mutually agree to part ways
“Kailen has been an integral part of this Club since Day 1.” The San Diego Wave has announced that longtime goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan has mutually agreed to end her contract with the club, making her a free agent. Sheridan, who was the only starting goalie the club has known, was named the NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year in 2022 and later this year notched her 600th career regular-season save. Her departure leaves just one player from the club's 2022 squad.
