AI could help companies find and hire truly creative people
Traditional hiring filters out anyone who doesn’t fit the mold — the artist who codes, the teacher who can analyze data, the entrepreneur who can dream. Artificial intelligence (AI) is beginning to revolutionize how companies identify and recruit talent, potentially helping them identify and identify truly creative individuals. AI-driven assessment tools can analyze language patterns, problem-solving styles, and even how candidates respond to ambiguity rather than relying on keywords or job titles, these systems can detect evidence of open-mindedness, experimentation and insight, traits associated with creativity more closely with creativity than GPA or years of experience. However, AI may still create biases towards candidates who already in the system, particularly those from underrepresented groups or unconventional backgrounds, which could risk being filtered out again. The goal of AI is to use these lenses as lenses to enhance our understanding of talent and identify potential talent. The companies that thrive in the coming decade will be those that hire people who can adapt, invent and reimagine what's possible.
