SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was taken into custody Tuesday morning after an hours-long, overnight standoff with police at a home in North Park.

Officers first responded to the home in the 3700 block of Alabama Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday. According to San Diego police, authorities were brought out to the scene after receiving a call about a possible domestic violence incident.

It remains unclear what led to the call and whether the suspect barricaded himself in the home with any weapon. However, the suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was safely taken into custody just before 6 a.m.
